HSI (KI-525A) compass card stays on 030. Will not slave manually or in auto

My HSI compass card stayed at 030. Nav and HDG flags were in view. It will not slave in manual or auto.

I had the HSI tested and repaired also my DG (KG-102A) was bad and replaced with overhauled unit. Now the warning flags are out of view, but the card stays at 030. Could it be the KMT-112? Any suggestions will be helpful.

    Can you hear it spin up? Did it ever work after repair? There are a number of wires going to/from the HSI - could one have a poor connection? The gyro is in the unit and should be internally connection to the display. They are sensitive in shipping and install and it is possible there was transit damage if it benched tested ok after repair but no longer works.

    It is driving an AP? It might be worth considering replacing it with an electronic one like a G5 or GI-275

    I had one that would just stick. resolved it

    All fixed. Turns out broken wire and pin in cable attaching to 525.
