Oximeter from REI - any reviews?

I am looking for an Oximeter to use when flying at altitude in my Cherokee Six. The other night I was in my local REI store and noticed that they had a finger clip style Oximeter for $100:

Has anyone used this one or has any experience with this product.

I have the SPO Checkmate and like it. My son in law was a paramedic at one time and said they would use them as a quick reference in emergency runs. He said they were very accurate considering their size.
