Basic Pitch Power Settings PA28-181 / Checklist too...
I'll be getting checked out in the Archer II soon. Does anyone have any basic numbers for SL pitch and power settings (and associated airspeeds)
Downwind, Base, Final. Pitch/power settings for 500' FPM descent at 120KTS, 100kts, etc.
Anything would be helpful. Just trying to get a reference for the basic power settings and associated performance...rather than fishing around trying to find the right power setting to hold a particular airspeed, climb, descent, level profile.
Also, does anyone have a good suggestion or reference for a single page checklist? Best checklists? iPad or paper, etc?
Thanks!!!

The POH for these machines can often be found for free download. I am sure a quick Google will help there.
The Arrow models had the Constant Speed Prop and Injected engines.

Was asking what the basic power settings are for various regimes, but those aren't in the POH. For example: Downwind 1900 RPM, 85 kts, Base 1500 75 kts, Final: 1200 70 kts and 600 FPM descent? That sort of thing. Not sure if there are some common numbers that are used. Same with shooting the ILS...at FAF, set XXX RPM, maintain 100 kts, and 500 FPM.
Also, regarding the checklist, was hoping maybe someone had some sort of resource that they liked on the iPad rather than just looking at the POH. Or maybe a single sheet reference for use in the Piper Archer. Many aircraft manufacturers of larger aircraft have what's called a QRC (Quick Reference Checklist) where they have the basic checklists and also an Emergency Checklist for initial actions on the other side. For more guidance, after the initial actions, they then reference the POH or AFM. Thought maybe there would be something like this for the Piper Archer.
Thanks again in advance for any info.
Thanks again.
