Lycoming SB569 - crankshaft
Hello friends,
I am flying my loved Arrow only 50 hours / year. Aircraft is situated in Germany. Old man hobby. Lycoming IO 360 C1C6 is affected by crankshaft bulletin. Latest date to exchange the crankshaft 2014. I am looking to web and see, that I have to give my flying up. The engine has 900 hours since overhaul 11 years ago. Not a single drop of oil,
almost no oil consumption..
Does someone of you have some advise? I will fly max 300 hours till the end of my flight carriere and none of my relatives is interesred in fyling, so the Arrow
will be sold in couple years anyway... Perhas to install another engine with low time left?
