Oil filler door loose question
The oil filler door on my 75 Archer does not latch very tightly so is is moving up and down during flight. It looks like there is a lot of wear on the plate that receives the latch on the door. Can anyone talk about what part(s) are typically replaced to make it tighter. I attached a picture of the underside of the door and latch.
The Piper parts manual list two parts that I looked at: a "Plate assembly - reinforcement oil filler door 99094-02" and "Plate - Reinforcement oil filler door 68787-00". Both are referenced to the same location on the diagram. And then the latch that is one the door.
Thanks in advance for any help!
