Biennial flight review for a recently recently certified Flight Instructor.
I was certified as a CFI, II on 20 August 2019. My last Biennial flight review was May 2018. Am I "due" for a biennial May 2020?
Alternatively has the FAA relaxed Biennial flight reviews due to covid19?
Can't seem to find a way to get one while social distancing.

Shouldn’t you be answering that question as a CFI?
The FAA put out some guidance here:

If you successfully passed your practical test August 20, 2019, I believe August 31, 2021 is the due date for your next “Flight Review.” Only us old guys still refer to it as a Biennial
See 14CFR 61.56 (c) and (d) 2

It’s a great incentive to get another rating 😬

no practical test...mil comp. test. and oral only. planning to do my flight review next month.
Ok, this is a learning opportunity for me. Does an oral only “mil comp.” test and “certification” authorize you to give civilian flight instruction? Thanks in advance for the clarification.
I received a CFI and II, single engine, multi engine certificate based upon my performance on the written, the oral and my Navy credentials...Yes I am authorized to give "civilian" flight instruction.

Mike
Issuance of any new certificate based on military experience does not count as a practical test, so therefore your flight review is due this year. The COVID guidance would apply if you can't get anyone to give you a flight review before your currency runs out.
In doing some further research, I learned something else about using 61.56 (d), i.e. that passing a proficiency check for pilot certificate, rating, or operating privilege, one need not accomplish the flight review.
Apparently, this does NOT apply to a flight instructor practical test unless it is agreed upon with the examiner to do a flight review in conjunction with the test and the successful flight review recorded separately!
Apparently this special case is only for a flight instructor certificate as explained in this FAA Legal Interpretation:

Just to be on the safe side I did a flight review last week.
