I'm thinking that this is a Lopresti Speed Merchants product but they sold out to Whelen last year. Whelen's business is lighting, not airframe modifications. They don't have this item on the website anymore so I guess you could call them but I don't think you'll find this item anymore. I had a Warrior in 1979 and I had this item, too. Perhaps you can fabricate something.

Thanks Scott. I thought it was standard equipment—no wonder I had trouble finding it in the parts manual. I glued a couple of rubber pads on it but they all eventually departed the aircraft at some point. Now it’s a McGuyver mission to find a more reliable replacement (or maybe more reliable cement!).

Is that a Lopresti part? Have you contacted them?

It was on my Warrior when I got it 20 years ago. Maybe I have the name wrong. Here’s a picture.

We’ve been using clear or white RTV on them. Just build them up enough to provide a cushion for the door.
Thanks! Great tip

That IS a good idea! The color would match too. Thanks.
