    On my Warrior, the POH said wheel pants would add 7 kts at cruise. I verified that to be correct.

    Check your POH for the difference in speed on your Dakota. Remember to do a new W&B, or make appropriate adjustments to the W&B after installation or removal of the pants.

  • I'll add to the chorus.

    Definitely 5 knots difference at cruise in the Archer. Ok, sure, not a Dakota, but still a PA-28.

  • 3-5 knots reduction when removed
