SPARK PLUGS FOR DAKOTA 0540
LAST ANNUAL MY AP MESSED UP THE PLUG ISSUE. I HOUR AFTER FLYING 1 MAG HAD BIG DROP BECAUSE A BAD PLUG...SUPPOSEDLY AFTER CLEANING AND TESTING. NEXT ANNUAL I JUST WANT TO PUT IN NEW PLUGS.
ANY SUGGESTIONS ON WHAT TO BUY, BY BRAND AND NUMBER?

You should ask your mechanic.
That said, you can open the cowling and see what you have now. The p/n is visible on the side. Probably massive and probably UREM38E. Here is a guide https://aeroaccessories.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/Tempest_App_GuideV7.pdf
Read up on massive vs fine wire. It’s a personal choice (and financial). Others will chime in, kinda an ongoing debate.
Just my opinion, a fouled plug doesn’t mean you need to replace them. It happens.

I would use REM40E's in your plane. The REM38's are a little cooler, hence the use of 40's.
Fine wires are much more expensive and really are best if you spend most of your time at higher altitudes.
The REM37BY's would be great from a fouling perspective if you could use them in your plane, but per the use chart is N/A.
