  • For electronic records you can also make copies, have your mechanic review them for completeness and then sign a statement that these electronic records are a full and complete record of all maint records.

    If I was presented with copies logs documented this way I would have few if any concerns. The signature should have full name, A&P IA number as well as contact info. I would also suggest taking pictures of the original logs and the electronic logs/printouts side by side with the signature page.

    Hopefully you never need it but good to have just in case and not much additional effort. Also make sure you document all of the AD records and not just the most recent as well as any serial numbers from engine parts, 337's, maint releases, etc.
