UMA Electronic Tachometer Install

I have a PA28-161 and I'm installing a TSO'd UMA Electric tach P/N:T19-801-112. The feds want a field approval done and requested that I show proof of someone else having installed this tach on their warrior. Would anyone be able to help be sending documentation of them having installed this on their aircraft. Thanks in advance.

    Hi Flyingcc,

    If none of our members have accomplished this installation or were not able to share paperwork with you, I would take this question directly to UMA. They should have all the paperwork you need to get this legally installed, unless it is not approved for your aircraft. They would know that as well. Also, your local A&P/IA should be able to help you navigate this issue and may have previous experience with the folks at the FSDO that could help.
