Engine Corrosion
To prevent engine corrosion especially for planes stored in hot humid coastal areas, does anyone use a dehumidifier vented into the oil dipstick tube to help reduce and remove any moisture buildup post flight. I was thinking the increase in air movement that is provided by a dehumidifier vs the little air pumps (Drybot) sold with dessicant would work more efficiently to remove moisture. Thoughts?

There are lots of thoughts. Scroll down to the October 7th question on Cherokee 180 engine corrosion. And you can glean an awful lot of information just from that post and response. Carl
