iPad magnetic kneeboard
I’ve been flying with an iPad mini for a while, but I really don’t like the aviation cases that snap to a kneeboard (and they’re not cheap!) So I came up with a solution that I’m happy with.
The folio cases from Apple attach magnetically to the mini iPad. It’s quite strong and unlikely to come loose easily. So I used double sided gorilla tape to attach the case to a cheap kneeboard from Amazon. Now I can just snap it on magnetically, and remove it easily to put it in another similar case for when I’m not flying. Not bad for under $50.
