This has historically been a well attended event sponsored by the dedicated and hard working University Of Dubuque Flight Team. The food is great and the dining hangar is clean,large and warm. I have attended this function many years.
The UD Flight Team took second place at the NIFA Region V Air Meet on October 9-11, 2008 at Minnesota State University, Mankato, MN. This will allow them to participate at Nationals in May of 2009.
All revenue and any additional "keep the change" contributions will help the team earn needed funds for their Nationals endeavor.
There is plenty of ramp parking and usually a fine selection of new and vintage aircraft to look at.
