in my Geronimo and would like some suggestions of really good places to fly to. Since it is hot in August I think maybe going north is best. I have already done the Bahamas and most of Florida. Anyone got some good places to fly to?
KMCD and KCIU in the UP of Michigan are very nice places to go. Cool weather, good accomodations, and a real "North Woods" adventure.
You then might work your way accross the UP and Northern Wisconsin to a uique landing at Sky Harbor at Duluth. On the way stop at John F Kennedy apt at Ashland Wisc. so you can say you flew into "Kennedy".
There are lots of things to see and interesting local airports all over Wisconsin. Be sure to stop at 63C for cheep gas...
