Engine for a Commercial purpose

Can I use an engine that has had a Major Overhaul for a commercial operation (Part 135) or does the engine have to be rebuilt by the original manufacturer?

    Any engine that has been documented as OH can be used so long as the proper paperwork is there to substantiate it. You can't fly 135 over TBO... just 91.
