Preheat question...

Fellow Owners and Pilots... have you had any eperience with Aerotherm Preheters? They look very interesting to me, but I've never been hands-on with one. Here's a link: http://aerothermheaters.com/why.php I'd appreciate your thoughts.

    I have likewise been talking to my A&P about pre-heaters and Aerotherm in particular. His take on preheaters was the main need was to insure the oil in the sump was warm enough to flow easily. I have no experience and being in Oklahoma don't have the same needs as more Northern members. I am on the verge, nonetheless, of taking the leap on this product. For my purposes, which is primarily for use in the hangar, I think it looks a good fit. If I has a line tie down circumstance I am not sure it could keep up with long periods of extremely cold weather.
