pa32 inspection ports
In anticipation of complying with SB977 (or 997) in reguards to the aft spar attach plate inspection. Does anybody know more about the inspection ports that would need to be placed? I found the SB which described placing the ports but it only mentioned the Piper part number as a reference and noted instructions are in the kit once purchased. I believe it was a 1985 publication. A brief look online for that part number was unsuccessful. Is this an inspection plate that can be made locally or are there other items in the kit? If it can be made locally, where does it go and what are the dimentions? If the kit needs to purchased, what would be a good source? cost?
