Looking at a Seneca IV which just recently complied with this SB. Anyone have the approximate cost to install the kits and approximate cost to repair if cracks are found? Are the reoccuring inspections something operators are dealing with or are the kits being installed?

    I was quoted 1500-1800 per side (including the kits) last January for an inspection and kit installation on a Turbo Arrow. This was from a shop that had performed numerous such installs.

    Did you have cracks or did you just install the kit to eliminate the ongoing inspections?

    I have a really low time airplane and put this off until my 2012 annual. I plan to have the kits installed even if there are no cracks.
