Piper Circuit Breaker loose or tripped?

Is there any way to tell if a Piper circuit breaker is simply loose or tripped? How far out would the circuit breaker be if it were tripped instead of simply loose. I have no electrical issues but I can not tell if two circuit breakers are simply a little loose or tripped. They float around in the "hole" but have no resistance to pushing back in. They do not extend out very far either, and the electrical gauges and equipment show no problems....any help would be greatly appreciated!

  • Part of the charm of those breakers. They pop out a good half inch plus when they really go.

If the circuit is working, the breaker isn't popped.
