Saratoga Makeover

This past winter, I tackled the project of updating the interior of my Saratoga. While the crushed velour was in pretty good condition, it was time to go. I gutted the interior to get a good clean start. I installed new wool carpeting, fabricated new aluminum side panels, and recovered everything with UltraLeather. I am particularly happy with my decision to cover all the plastic window trim in matching UltraLeather with french seams. I also used concealed fasteners to reattached the trim. It really gives it a "luxury car" feel.

Covered plastic trim with UltraLeather and French seams, and I used concealed fasteners...no more screws and plastic plugs:

  • The new interior made the old paint scheme look even more dated...the tan paint (albeit in good condition) always bugged me...so I just HAD TO get the paint done too. :D
