Comparing interior space Dakota vs. 180

At 6-4, 220lbs my 180 is a bit tight. Is a Dakota cabin wider? I know it is longer.

    The Dakota cabin is 42 inches wide. According to the internet, the 180 cabin is 40 inches wide. So it seems the Dakota is a little wider. I think I'd climb in one and try it before trading planes.

    Now, if you want a wide cabin ... at 48 inches the Cherokee Six/Saratoga will spoil you forever!

    As far as I can tell, there is no significant difference with the 180 at 41.5 and Dakota at 42. I am just kind of getting tired of getting elbowed on long trips when flying with a large person but doesn't appear to be a model much wider until you get up in the 6 range.
