Arrow III electric fuel pump trips breaker when switch turned on. Has anyone experienced this and was the problem the fuel pump, the switch, or a short in the wiring?
Turbo or regular? You'd have to disconnect the pump and see if it still blows it. If you have a regular Arrow and it is the pump, I have one I'd make a deal on. You will find them very expensive otherwise.
Thanks. It's regular. I thought this might be a common enough problem that there would be a trend toward one or another potential cause. Access is awkward, so I'm not sure if it will be easier to disconnect at the switch or the pump.
Access is easy. It is in with the gascolator. Just take off the lower cowl... or you can probably get access enough to take off the wire by just loosening all the screws on that side and gently pulling back the lower cowl.
