  • Just an FYI, I am seeing alot of Seneca II used parts for sale. I believe that is a consideration for keeping your aircraft operable. You can pick up used or new parts.
  • I have been the owner of a 1989 Seneca III which we ordered factory new. It is loaded with all options except air, which weighs 60 lbs.
We have flown this aircraft over 2800 hours, and it has proven to be a comfortable, reliable cross country machine. It cruises at 170 kts. At 8-10,000' (higher is faster with the turbos) with a few speed mods, and burns 25GPH.
The III has a more modern instrument panel than the II, a one piece windshield, nicer interior, and the stronger KB engines. Ours has a full fuel payload of 709 lbs.
If you have any further questions, post and I will answer.
Seneca's are not as fast as Barons, or as sexy as 310s, but they are more comfortable.
