God Speed, John Glenn
I was in the fifth grade when John Glenn went up in a Mercury spacecraft. At the time we had an old black and white TV at school and everything would stop when a spacecraft went up and we would watch. Walter Cronkite would narrate. If was so exciting. Glenn was 95 and we shall miss him. He was the last of the original 7 astronauts.
