In search of couple of small parts...
I replaced my visors on my Piper Archer a few months ago and noticed that I was missing a post/screw assembly on the rubber retainer where the ball goes into on the center windhield post. Also, the one that was there was mangled pretty bad. I need to get two. If I am correct, the proper part is "36588-04 SCREW AND POST ASSEMBLY - Retainer" from the parts manual. I have searched the web and all my normal parts places and cannot find them.
Does anyone have a lead on them???

Thanks Scott. I have new retainers (the rubber piece). I need the screw/post part. I could not find that part on the link listed. Doing some research they are also known as a "Chicago Screw."

Believe it or not, a Chicago screw is also called a "sex bolt"

Harley, too funny. I grew up in Chicago and, well, I guess I won't go there.

Where can I find the little plastic inserts that keep the black hub from rotating? Bob
