Where to get a new metal panel cut?

I hated the plastic cover on the panel instruments of my Cherokee. It curved around each instrument, making it difficult to read the top of the DG without leaning down a tad. I took a Dremel to the plastic last week, and am thrilled at the look of just the instruments themselves. However, I had to leave a portion of the plastic, on the far left, where a JPI engine monitor was installed in place of an old ADF. I don't want a new plastic panel. I'd like to have a metal one made when I'm ready. Who does this? Thanks.

  • Scott, How do you illuminate the instruments if you have just a metal panel? Instruments are mounted flush, I suspect.

  • Thank you, Scott. I'll check out JA Aero. By the way, would this require a new weight & balance?

  • Yes indeed, it does.
