Doweled O-320 E2A Engine

In the December 2020 Piper's magazine, Michelle Dolin writes, concerning her PA-28-140 (same airplane as mine) under "top three tips": "Doweled O-320 E2A engine." I'm wondering if someone w/ more engine knowledge than me (almost anyone) could expand on what Michelle meant. I'm assuming she refers to doweled crankshaft bearings, but is that a good or bad thing? What's the tip?
