longitudinal leveling
Good morning, all. I'm about to have my PA-28 re-weighed and the POH gives a good detailed description about how to properly level the aircraft in prep for this. It mentions two screws directly below the pilot's side window. My questions is, which of the two aft screws do I choose? My guess is the lower of the two, based on the pic of my friend's Arrow of the same vintage.

I also think it is the lower two. Rather than back out the screws you can use a metal edge to mark the level line between them and then tape a level on the line to the airframe.

Good idea, sir. Thanks
You can also get a nice digital level for $35 to 60 accurate to within 0.1 degrees
For Balance calculations it is very important to get it as close to level as possible. Also do indoors as wind can impact results too. Measure the exact location of the tire center contact to the ground too, and then reference this to the datum for the plane as well. It is quick to get a wrong answer....
