Right seat push to talk issue

Question for the group. My Cherokee 140/160 does not have a right seat push to talk switch on the yoke so I recently purchased an ASA PTT. Upon installing it I called the local tower for a radio check and all seemed good. However, we a friend of mine and I went for a flight, upon plugging in his headset, I could no longer hear him on the PS1000 intercom. As a result we bypassed the PTT on the right yoke so we could communicate during our flight.

Any ideas of where to start trouble shooting this issue?

    Double check your wiring for the PTT switch. Looks like the co-pilot PTT switch goes to pin 22 and pin 10. If you do not see anything wrong, call Mark at PS Engineering and discuss. PS Engineering has great customer support.
