1969 Pa28r 180 instrument lighting

The dimmer for my instrument lights shorts, as intensity increases the fuse popped

took a while to figure out why i wasn't getting 3 greens ….

where is it grounded ?

whats the part number so i can order a new one

My guess is that if the dimmer shorted it would go to full brightness and not pop the breaker. I would think that it would be a different problem.
