Registration goin to 7 years
After reading through this. Will it just extend current registrations, which is what I think it says. Will they send you a new registration with the new expiration date on it? Or will you have a registration that appears to be expired but was extended by the FAA?

Legally they have to send new registrations. How long that takes could be compared against how long it takes to process one I suppose. Six months maybe?
I own and fly a 79 PA32RT-300T. Previous aircraft are a 79 Archer and 76 Arrow.
I assume that it will be like everything else with the FAA, we will just have to wait and see.
