O-ring for piper arrow 2 Propeller
Hi, i recently found a notch in my alternator belt and will have to replace. In doing so i am being told that i will have my propeller taken off and will require a new O-ring for it. Does anyone have an idea what the part number would be? Its a 1973 PA28R-200
Thanks!

do you mean for the crankshaft? If So, the part number is
LW-13792 Seal (Lycoming). I just replaced mine and the part is very difficult to locate.

I have broken 3 alternator belts in the past 20 hours, I think they reused my O ring or have no issue with getting them. I have the micro belt for planes that HAD air conditioning. I now have a nice wide spot doing nothing.
Prop comes off Friday to untwist the belt. No mention of prop O ring.
‘There is an STC to put the ALT where it belongs, that is $6200 plus parts, labor. Maybe I need an O ring.

R, there is some very specific instructions for those goofy belts. I know the manuals had em and i may have seen someSB or SL on them too. Carl
