Paint in the Indiana/Chicagoland area

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for a recommendation on a paint shop in the Nortnern Indiana, Chicagoland area.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

    Below are a few I know of, but a Google search will ultimately be your best bet.

    Woodlake - in Sandwich IL

    Byerly aviation - Peoria, IL

    Flying Colors - Benton Harbor, MI

    Midwest Aircraft Refinishing - Hibbing, MN

    I have seen work from Woodlake, Midwest A/C Refinishing, and Flying Colors. There is also a Canadian company named Flying Colours, (note different spelling), so make sure you have the right one.

    The paint work from Woodlake and Flying Colors was beautiful, and any owner would be proud to show it off. The paint work done by Midwest A/C Refinishing was stunning show quality. The drawback is that they are booked many months in advance, and aren't really in the Northern IL/IN area.

    It's been years since I checked, but I would expect to pay somewhere in the $20K - $30K range for a PA-28 paint job.
