Review of International Air Rally 2023

This August I will be flying my Piper Comanche 250 to the Great Canadian North joined by a group of pilots, 12 aircraft, majority from as far as Florida, Utah, California etc…

Northern Lights, Wilderness Lodge for trophy trout fishing, Polar Bears and amazing encounters with Aviation Legends. A Canadian Authentic Adventure.

My previous plane was a Piper PA32 300HP.

The Piper Comanche turns out to be the best option for me, range and speed, as I plan to continue enjoying more adventures including 2025 South America Air Rally going back to see our friends in Columbia!

I am so lucky to have enjoyed these adventures for the past 20 years from the Canadian Artic to South America.

  • Sounds like a fun adventure! Much IFR?

  • Hi Mike,

I am not IFR! Scouts are sent ahead to relay weather on route. Working really well.
