Leaking Fuel Pump Continental TSIO 360 FB (TCM)
My 1977 Turbo Arrow III is in for it's annual and a leaking fuel pump was found. Does anybody have a recommendation on a company that can provide a new/ rebuilt pump?
Thanks

Hi Todd,
Mike's Fuel Metering in Tulsa has done overhauls for me, with turnaround of about a week. As of last year, Kevin Felts was the production manager. 918-838-6217.
Aviall/Boeing often has rebuilt pumps in stock. If you can confirm availability, your A&P can probably order on his account for a discount and free shipping.
Three things to keep in mind. (1) Gasket leaks in the TCM fuel pumps are very common. I've seen several cases where the leak was caused by a lose bolt, so it's always a good idea to check bolt tightness before you turn a simple issue into a $2500 overhaul and ground your plane for a week or more. (2) If your engine was overhauled a few years ago, you probably have a cast pump. The new replacement is CNC cut so it will look different, and may or may not accept your pump as a core charge. (3) The pump you get back, whether new or overhauled, will absolutely require calibration once it's installed. Your A&P will probably have a set of gauges and know the procedure, but in case he doesn't, one of the A&Ps on the forum can probably walk him through the procedure. It's not difficult, but it's important it be done correctly.

My AP described the leak as not repairable but I will definitely look further into it. When ever a issue comes up I try and lighten the load on him by helping research or find parts. He also explained the calibration requirement. Thanks for the info and recommendations. I appreciate it
