Has been creeping up last few yrs.

Prince, I hate to do this as you seem to be happy..... but I've had my Arrow now for 4 insurance renewals and the premium has gone down each year and it seems the policy is stronger than in the past. It felt to me like that insurance markets were getting more competitive. Are you using a reputable broker who shops all the markets? Interested to hear what others are seeing.

I have a good broker that shops around, and my insurance has been pretty steady. That being said, I keep bumping up the hull value every year to keep in step with climbing used aircraft prices. If I had left the old hull value in place, my premiums would probably have dropped a small amount.

The biggest issue my agent is warning me about is when we hit 70 yrs old. I've been told to expect the premiums to quadruple. I suspect different parts of the country and different markets will dictate prices.

My insurance dropped $10 from last year but the I up'd the value of my Cherokee up $10K to $60K. So it was a wash in the end.

I use BWI.
