Missing page from AFM PA 28-180C
I'm a student pilot.
I just purchased a 1966 CHEROKEE PA 28-180C. The page for the weight and balance envelope graph is missing. Is there anything I can do short of buying a whole new AFM?

If you're referring to the chart used to determine where your CG is, the Type Certificate Data Sheet (TCDS) has it, page 4 here: https://drs.faa.gov/browse/TCDSMODEL/doctypeDetails?modalOpened=true
If you're looking for the handy chart for each storage location (front & rear seats, baggage, fuel, etc) what you have left in the POH, or the above TCDS, will list the stations for each and you can use the weight x arm=moment and math your W&B.

It would be the chart for the envelope in weight and balance. I believe it's document VB-163, but I could be wrong. In my AFM it would be page 11. You can see the ghost of it on the back of page 10
Sorry, the link I provided isn't what I thought. If you hit the link, and enter 2A13 in the TCDS Number block and apply, it will bring up the TCDS for the PA28's, and page 3 starts the early -180s, 4 is your W&B info.

Got it, thanks!
Hi Jeff,
Congratulations on your aircraft purchase and best of luck with your training! I have been flying my 1966 PA-28-180C for over 40 years and it has been, and continues to be a wonderful aircraft. Take care of it, and it will take care of you!
By the way, I do not know the specific serial number of your Cherokee, but if it is above 3072, there is a modified CG envelope that applies from 28-3073 to 28-5859 and I have included a copy of it for you here:
If you have an earlier serial number, there is a nose strut modification that must be made to use the revised CG envelope.
Hope this info is useful for you and remember....keep the pointy end forward and the dirty side down.
Regards,
Mike
