Mid-America Air Museum

Today I visited the Mid-America Air Museum in Liberal, Kansas. Really neat place with over 100 aircraft on display. Mix of military, civil production and homebuilts plus an outdoor static display of military aircraft. Admission is only $7.00. Very low key operation but the aircraft are generally in excellent shape. I suggest that anyone passing close to Liberal stop in and check out the museum. Included is Max Conrad's Commanche in which he set several VERY long distance records in 1959 (Morroco to Los Angeles!) Check it out on the web: www.liberalairmuseum.com
