Blue Ridge Mountians

I am considering a flight from northen ILL. to the Charlotte NC area, (Gastonia NC KAKH) Does anyone have any experience and/or advise about flying over the Blue Ridge Mountains?

    No problem. They don't create the wind problems that the Rocky's do. Just watch your altitude. Just follow a victor airway and use it's MEA and you will have no problem.
