Nose wheel angle with cross wind

I was wondering what possible consequences could happen during crosswind landings with a lot of rudder control. For example, If I am applying full right rudder to compensate for crosswinds, then my nosegear is also turned full right. If this amount of correction is held to the point of touchdown for the nose wheel, does it cause trouble? Any stories?

  • Sorry about your mishap.. thanks for the input. Ususally I find that by the time I'm ready for touchdown, slowed thru ground effect and in the flare, not nearly the correction is needed.....Just wondering though....
