Caroline's Restaurant - Oswego County (FZY), NY
When I first moved to New York, it quickly became obvious that Caroline's Restaurant on the field at Oswego County (FZY) was a favorite $100 hamburger destination for pilots in western New York. Lauran Paine even featured them in a recent Sport Aviation article.
My wife and I flew in yesterday for lunch and learned from our waitress that the restaurant will be closing on May 31 this year.
I thought that other Upstate pilots might appreciate the news so that they can get their Caroline's fix before the restaurant closes for good.
