Tucson International info.
in Travel
I posted some of this in reply to a request a few month back. Now it is just for general information.
Flew to Tucson from San Diego back in March 07. Had not been there for about 25 years. When you land, ask to taxi to the "Tucson Executive" at the base of the tower. It is city owned and has great service, a great facility and lower priced fuel. Very nice people.
Try to visit the Pima Air Museum while you are there. Check out their website before you go.
Tucson is a class C, so be sure to get a squawk before beginning to taxi out. The run up areas are sometimes between the runways, so double check with ground on their directions. Some very fast military jets were going in an out when I was there.
Good Luck and enjoy Tucson.
