Borrego Springs (L08) Update

Just returned from lunch at the Borrego Springs airport. Landed the Archer in a 15K 90 degree crosswind. The new italian restaurant is very nicely furnished. They have a lunch and dinner menu. Prices were reasonable for the lunch dishes. Unfortunately, they did not offer $100 hamburgers or sandwiches, but a wide variety of pastas etc. Our choice of a soup and salad was excellent.
They do not have a website as far as I can find. Their phone is 760-767-3388. They are definitely closed on Tuesday. They open for lunch at 11:00.
Looks like a great SoCal destination.
