Unknown 6 Pin Connector in Yoke?

Does anyone have any idea what this 6 pin connector could be for? It runs down the center of the Yoke. It was in the plane when I bought it and the original owner is deceased. Probably installed 10+ years ago.

  • Hi,
Looks like a power/antenna plug from a 1990's Garmin handheld GPS.

  • I have a Garmin GPS 90 handheld GPS but it uses a round connector. A GPS antenna connection would be coax, not just a pin in a multiple wire connector...IMHO!

  • He may have had a yoke mounted handheld GPS before installed the 430. This may be the leftover power/data cable.
