I am looking for a 1980+ Chieftan with a pilot door. Either run out or completely redone. I am working with MIke JOnes right now to find one. I fly currently a 2013 TTx that will be for sale but I don't have to. If you know of a good low hour PA31 please lmk.

  • The Chieftan is a a find airplane. Good luck in your search. And the TTx is equally impressive. Anyway you can keep both? :)

  • You might consider the Cessna 340 or 414 as well. I had a 421C for awhile and it was a blast carrying 4 adults and 4 kids in pressurized comfort. With 4+ seats pressurization is attractive as you can climb high and not have to worry about people wearing O2. 340 prices are in the same range as the Chieftan. Fuel would be about the same too. Pressurization does not add that much in maint until you lose a pilot side glass window.
