Three Green
My A&P is troubleshooting the problem, but I wanted to get others opinion. My first flight coming out of annual, I drop the gear and I only get green indication on the mains. The nose wheel flashes green (split second) and then goes dark with the gear in transit light continuing to illuminate. I went around and cycled the gear and received 3 green. The shop put it on jacks and could not duplicate. I flew again, same issue and returned to the shop. Upon further inspection, they determined it was not a switch issue but rather the spring connectors in the socket. They cycled it 5 times with 3 green every time. Finally, I flew last night. On first lap I only received green indication on the mains. I cycled the gear another 6 times and received 3 green all 6 times.
Sorry for the long story. I welcome your feedback on my issue.

How do they know it is not the switch and it was the connector if it always worked for them in the hanger on jacks????
Any leaks? Did they push back against the nose wheel while it was trying to deploy to simulate air drag?
Can you send pics of the switch, socket and wiring as well as the area where the nose gear hardware pushes against the switch?

No leaks. I know they did push back to simulate drag. Will get photos and come back to you.
Scott, since I doubt this is a warrior let's assume it's an arrow. I would say cut your losses and just change the nose gear switch out., plus you know it's been changed within the last 30 years lol., Carl
