Going to remove kns80 and 396. Move transponder and #2 comm under 430.
Then cover plate painted to match where radios were. Allowing a iPad mount to,dash instead of on co pilot yoke. Anyone wants the in’s 80 or 396 let me know.

Sounds like a good plan. As for the old avionics, is there a museum anywhere that wants them?

The garmin 396 is worth between 250 and $400. The KNS80 only makes sense as a slide in for someone that has one. I have one, I consider it an oversized DME/NAV head with GS but it works fine. I would be interested in the KNS80 as a spare.

Once I have plane home from shops, I’ll post a note to let you know the parts are available. Thanks
Another 1-2 weeks I’m told.
