On Nov. 29, 2022, Piper Aircraft issued Service Bulletin SB1161C for wing rib inspections. The SB expands the area of inspection to include both forward and aft wing rib assemblies at WS 49.2. This new SB supersedes the previous service bulletin (SB1161B). Compliance requirements, inspections, and timelines vary according to the group in which an aircraft is categorized, which is determined by model and serial number.
