Trig Avionics is delighted to announce that the Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for its slimline TX56 Nav/Com has now been formally recognized by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). This development opens the door for wider installation options across Europe, enabling the installation of the TX56 family for both VFR and IFR operations.

This STC covers Trig’s TX56, TX56A, TX57 and TX57A Nav/Com units with a comprehensive Approved Model List (AML) covering over 650 general aviation fixed-wing types, as well as support for autopilot integration and both legacy and modern VOR/ILS systems-including Trig’s TI106.

James Forbes, Customer Support Manager at Trig said, “We are please to see our STC recognized by EASA. This further simplifies the installation of the Trig TX56 and unlocks the Nav/Com to a wider market where other installation options were not previously available. We are grateful to our STC partner, Metrea, for their hard work and continued support on this project.”

Trig Approved Dealers now have access to this STC, making the TX56 Nav/Com an ideal choice for both panel upgrades and new installations. Qualified installers who wish to access the STC should contact support@trig-avionics.com for further guidance.
